Youth Yellow Pages - Nutrition

Healthy eating is essential for development and well-being. A healthful diet can reduce major risk factors for chronic diseases such as obesity, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. Healthy eating and physical activity are important life skills that can help prevent health problems later in life. Eating a variety of foods to get the nutrients you need and at the same time, the right amount of calories to maintain a healthy weight, can improve long-term health and reduce the risk of developing diet-related diseases.
